The Happiest Place [isn’t on Earth...]

I went to Disneyland today and events prior to going/people-watching/my actions/times of laughter/quality time spent with friends made me contemplative. Bear with me as my head is racing with thoughts that I need to dispose of.

I am thankful for a multitude of things. I want to be a better person. I am OK with my pass expiring ; ). I am a horrible daughter/sister, but with God’s help I’m trying to be better. I love good fashion and commend those who partake in it. I love the game “Your Team”, especially in crowded areas. (For the record Joseph Daniel’s team took a lot of hits today.) I am indecisive. I love laughter. Consuela got me one rad birthday present and I love her Mexican guts. I love living life and the adventure it brings. I love camera’s of all sorts, especially my fisheye camera (I’ll post pics from today, tomorrow). Following seeing a number of children in wheelchairs and one with what I am guessing was cancer, I am incredibly grateful for my health and the health of my loved ones. After coming home and realizing I ought to get to work on homework (but watching America’s Next Top Model instead) I am thankful for an education and the ability to learn. AND finally after going a whole day watching others, and regarding my own actions I am so beholden to/for the Bible and my relationship with Jesus. I am able to come clean with Him, able to come just as I am and  rest in His Word. How precious. Thank God for new starts, renewals, rejuvenation, and repentance even at the end of the day. I was thirsty from a lack of time with Jesus today and God said, “Come to me and drink.”

A link to my devotion time tonight...
