It was my first time tagging along with Rooftop BBQ to one of their competitions. We packed up all of our lives (kind of) and headed out east to booming Mesquite, Nevada. AND by booming I mean desolate, ha. The only thing good about this town was Rooftop BBQ themselves ; ) It was interesting and nice being able to see the fella's in action, being there to support their love of everything BBQ. They conjured up some tasty food while the rest of us relaxed poolside. I was proudly able to get in on the action as well. Me and the Pops made a yummy dessert and entered it into the competition. Not gonna lie, it was pretty delicious! Overall we spent some quality time together as friends and family while the boys won some prizes. Good times were definitely had!
